James B. Cox is a former Stake president and was asked by the Missionary Department to teach this seminar to inmates at the state prison. Becoming Spiritually Centered and Overcoming the World teaches the 12 thought patterns of Christ and shows you how to develop these thought patterns so that you can begin to see, think, feel, and do as Christ does. Developing the thought patterns of Christ is also helpful in developing:

  1. HOPE to be raised unto eternal life.
  2. CHARITY to feel God’s perfect love for yourself and all others
  3. FAITH to see, think, feel, and do as Christ does, and
  4. JOY to enjoy the day while making it worthwhile.

If you find yourself lacking in hope, charity, or faith, or you find that you’re just not enjoying the day, even during the trials, then you will LOVE this seminar!

Brother Cox has taught the Becoming Spiritually Centered seminar for twenty-five years and over 15,000 people have attended. He has officially retired from teaching the seminar, but has made it available on DVD. For eight weeks, we will view one session a week, following along and discussing the concepts as we go. We’ll then go home and practice the principle taught in the session for seven days and then return and learn a new principle. This program is designed to help us become spiritually centered so we can use the problems and experiences of this life for spiritual growth and learn to enjoy each day.

The manual is highly recommended and is available for $10 on Brother Cox’s website.

Thousands of seminar participants have seen the difference it has made in their lives. Husband and wife relationships have improved. Problems with children, finances, health problems, and overcoming low feelings of self-worth have become a spiritual growth experience.

I hope you’ll join us beginning Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 6:00 PM. Please call 801-292-7574 to register for this class.
