The host hotel for this event is the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. A special conference rate of $125, plus taxes and applicable fees, has been negotiated for single through quad occupancy.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are the backbone of our conference.  In exchange for a minimum of 6 hours of volunteer service, we will offer you a reduced registration to the meeting ($200. which includes all 3 days of the conference and all conference meals and functions).  Please note:  this does not include hotel accommodations, travel expenses, or Monday optional activities.  To be added to the potential volunteer list, please email registrar@ptfassociates and asked to be placed on the list.  Be sure to provide your name, phone number, cell, and email.

CHILDCARE
The Wise Traditions Conference is pleased to provide a children’s program for this year’s meeting. $210 for Friday – Sunday, includes Friday lunch, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch or $100 per child with no meals. Children 3 – 12 who are potty trained are welcome to Wise Traditions 2012 as long as they are enrolled in our children’s program. For the sake of other conference attendees, we ask that parents refrain from bringing children to the conference sessions.

For children’s meals you may select GF and/or CF.

Also note: A special room has been set aside for mothers of infants who want to attend the conference. There will be a live audio feed from one of the sessions to that room throughout the day’s events. There will be no child care provided for infants and children under age 3.

CONFERENCE FOOD
As always, the conference will feature delicious traditional foods. Participants requiring gluten-free or casein-free meals will be served in a separate buffet with the exception of the Saturday banquet which is GF/CF with items containing gluten and/or casein served on the side. If you wish to have this option, please select the GF and/or CF option on your registration form.

FUNDRAISER BREAKFASTS

The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund provides hot and cold breakfast menu options at the FundRAISER breakfast held at the convention center.  Note: Breakfasts item are additional, and are not included in the conference fee. All items provided on an ala-carte basis and include organic soaked oatmeal with a fixin’s bar, pastured hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, whole fruit and many other delicious items. All proceeds benefit the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund.
