Almost every client who comes to see you either has, is, or will be experiencing, some kind of health issue or crisis. The connection between diet and health is indisputable yet it’s often over-looked.
With so many ideas and philosophies of what constitutes a healthy diet and the USDA changing their recommendations with each new scientific “discovery”, making our way through the fog of conflicting information can be confusing as well as discouraging!
During our nine month course we’ll read about the findings of Dr. Weston A. Price who traveled the world and discovered entire towns, villages, and hamlets of people with no tooth decay, no mental health issues, no infertility, and no disease!
Dr. Price documented their diets and the effects on their health when they abandoned their traditional diet for the convenience foods of modern commerce. Although their diets differed based on the country and climate in which they lived, there were similarities from which we can learn. We’ll also compare the effects of the convenience foods experienced by the people in Dr. Price’s research to our common health problems and epidemics.
