Redmond Clay

This  10 minute introductory video was taken from a 2 hour 12 min video lecture.

Bentonite Clay is Mother Nature’s pharmacy.  It is volcanic ash with all the impurities burned out leaving pure trace minerals.  Clay is a nano crystal of highly charged electromagnetic energy from the thermodynamic heat of a volcano.  It can NOT be duplicated in a laboratory.  Only God can make clay.

Most clays have a high alkaline pH.  Clay is homestatic and as such is an adaptogen that brings balance and equilibrium to the body.  A balanced body can heal itself.  That is what the body is designed to do when it isn’t in overload and unable to filter out the build up of toxins and wastes in the body that begin causing health problems.  Bentonite Clay’s strength lies in its ability to adsorb and absorb, to suck into itself toxins, chemicals, viruses, molds, and the bad bacteria, hold them captive within the molecule and carry them out of the body.

The electromagnetic energy of the clay stimulates circulation, bringing blood flow and oxygen to revitalize cellular repair and awaken latent cell energy.

It seems hard to believe that a simple handful of clay soil can help with so many things but it really can; in a remarkably short amount of time and with great ease it brings about swift results.  The beauty of clay is it is so safe.  The FDA gives Bentonite Clay a GRAS rating meaning Generally Regarded as Safe.

There is a long recorded history of animals in the wild instinctually seeking and eating clay to heal themselves. The medicine men of many aboriginal tribes have long used clay as part of their healing treatments.

The kicker is all clays are different, even within the same family of clays so it is important to know your clays.  The Smectite family of clays is known for healing clays.  Bentonite is a Smectite clay.  Redmond Clay is a sodium/calcium bentonite clay.

Albeit all clays have some healing potential, there are a few that are amazingly stronger than others.  Some are good for internal use and others are much better for external use.  A few are exceptional in both areas.  Redmond Clay is such a clay…it’s “pulling” power is very strong, and it is excellent for both internal and external use.

From a gentle internal cleansing to healing wounds in half the time, to stopping Acid Reflux and intestinal disorders, to stopping food poisoning, to detoxing heavy metals, to healing burns and insect bites, to mending broken bones rapidly, to relieving strained muscles, to helping skin rashes, acne and gum problems, to aiding children with Autism, to expelling internal parasites, to stopping anemia, clay is a natural replacement to most drugs with no organ damaging negative side effects.

Clay Baths are quickly becoming regarded as a safe and easy way to detox the body from heavy metals.  Besides, they are very relaxing, and the relieve muscle strain and soreness.  Your skin feels heavenly after the bath.

Bentonite, an edible, mineral-rich clay, has been used for centuries to draw toxins away from intestinal walls while cleansing the colon.  Another use for bentonite clay, which is very timely considering the recent natural and the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan, is adsorption of radiation.  Not only does bentonite clay adsorb radiationi from nuclear fallout, it also adsorbs any kind of radiation.

Bentonite clay is sometimes referred to as “green” healing clay.  It is created naturally from the combination of volcanic ash minerals called montmorillonite and ocean water.  Depending on the source, bentonite clay is loaded with naturally occurring minerals such as potassium, calcium, and sodium.  When bentonite gets wet, it expands, much like a sponge does.

However, rather than absorbing toxins the way a sponge might, bentonite clay works more like a magnet.  This process is called adsorption, which is spelled with the letter “d.”  Bentonite clay adsorbs because it carries both negative and positive charges on its surfaces and edges.  Toxins are attracted to the bentonite like magnets, bond to the chemicals in the clay, and are carried out of the body in the small spaces created when the clay is wet.

According to a 2006 study published in Radiation Protection Dosimetry, which was performed by a team of scientists led by V. Correcher and entitled “Thermal Stability of the Thermoluminescence Trap Structure of Bentonite,” bentonite clay was studied because of its known capabilities ot break bond links, form hydrolyzed ions, and redox reactions.  The study documented the “exponential distribution of trapped electons.”

In another scientific study, bentonite clay was tested to determine its efficacy in reducing high-energy gamma irradiation of adenine.  According th chemists at Duke University, adenine is one of the most important organic molecules found in the human body.  Adenine is an intergral part of human DNA, RNA, and ATP.  In this study, published in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2002, irradiated adenine recovered much quicker in systems containing clay than in those which did not contain clay.  Results showed that bentoninte clay actes as a surfact protector against radiation of adenine.

Taken orally, bentonite clay is used to detoxify the digestive system, eliminate intestinal parasites, strengthen the immunce system, and fight free radicals.  It also helps remove heavy metals from the body and assists in the process of liver detoxification.  Used externally, bentonite clay is often a main ingredient in compresses, clay packs, and facial masks.

Redmond Clay is NOT a wonder drug.  In fact, it is not a drug at all!  It is simply a natural, “home remedy” that has been used since the early 1900’s for a variety of medical problems.

When starting the clay internally, go slow!  Start with 1/3 tsp daily and drink plenty of water.  During the 2nd week, take 2/3 tsp, working your way up to 1 tsp of clay a day.  This will minimize the “healing crisis” your body will experience as the clay cleans and detoxes.

Redmond Clay strengthens and supports all the organs and systems of the body, allowing you to heal yourself, as nature intended.  Be patient.

Redmond Clay is a natural substance and as such it works differently for each person.  While we can’t guarantee the same positive results for everybody, we have personally used, or seen it used, for the following problems with beneficial results.

External:  arthritis, acne, athlete’s foot, bruises/black eyes, boils, burns/sunburns, cellulite, cold sores/fever blisters, cuts, diaper rash, ear aches, eczema, facials, insect bites/bee stings, infections ingrown toe nails, nail fungus, poison ivy/stinging nettle, scrapes/road rash, shingles, sprains, sores and wounds that won’t heal.

Internal:  acid reflux/heartburn, allergies/hay fever, celiacs disease, constipation, diarrhea/dysentery, diverticulitis, detox/heavy metals, food poinsoning, h-pylori, hiatel hernia, irritable bowel syndrom (IBS), Crohns Disease, menstrual cramps, parasites, Roto Virus, stomach ache/stomach flu, diabetes, ulcers.
