The Basic Essential Oil Class will be held Saturday, July 9 from Noon – 3:00. Pre-registration is required, so if you haven’t had a chance to register yet, please give me a call at 801-292-7574.
This 3 hour class is designed for the beginner as well as the individual who has been using essential oils for some time. We cover a wide range of topics and make the practice of using essential oils fun and easy. By the end of the class you will know how to effectively use essential oils in most situations.
In this 3 hour class we will cover:
- The history of essential oils and where they come from
- The various schools of thought on how to use essential oils
- Plant families in relation to essential oils
- Plant physiology in relationship to essential oil function
- Frequency and synergy
- The need for 100% pure, therapeutic essential oils
- The difference between blended oils and single oils
- Basic principles of essential oils – how they do what they do
- Using essential oils to restore balance within the body
- The shelf life of esssential oils
- Safety guidelines to consider when using essential oils
- How and why to use a carrier oil when topically applying essential oils
- Methods of use when incorporating essential oils into everyday life
- Essential oils and balancing emotions
- What essential oil to use for specific symptoms
This is a GREAT class with lots of GREAT information! The class fee is $15 and includes the text book, Butterfly Miracles with Essential Oils, by LaRee Westover. What a GREAT value! The book purchased seperately is $20 so getting the book free with the class is an INCREDIBLE opportunity! And don’t worry, some essential oil “classes” I’ve been to were actually sales presentations, but not this one. This is a class to teach you about the history, uses, and benefits of essential oil and also specific uses for specific issues. So be sure to come with plenty of questions!
Essential oils will be available for purchase after the class for your convenience, but this isn’t the focus of our class. We want you to understand how wonderful essential oils are so you and your family can benefit from them.
