Health and Wellness is a broad topic and the pages in this section of my website will cover a lot of different things but focus primarily on nutrition. Truthfully, everything on my website involves some aspect of Health or Wellness, but my hope is that these pages will give you some tools to bring nutritional balance to yourself and your family.

Nutrition is a fundamental aspect of health and wellness. Both mental and physical health can be compromised because of nutritional deficiencies. Eating a nutritious, balanced diet that includes herbs, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, meats, and healthy fats will provide your body with the vitamins and minerals that it needs to be healthy and fight disease.

Following traditional food preparation techniques will optimize our body’s ability to absorb the nutrients in the food we eat. You can learn more about traditional food preparation from the Weston A. Price Foundation.  Dr. Weston A. Price was a dentist who traveled the world researching the cause of degenerative illness. What he found may surprise you.

Below is a short video clip with information about Dr. Price and his studies but you’ll also find information in this section and in my blog as well as from other websites devoted to traditional food preparation some of which you’ll find listed on the Sites of Interest page.  I also invite you to visit the Weston A. Price Foundation website.  Their site has a wealth of information on traditional food preparation, the dangers of soy and GMO foods, real milk, and much more including videos on traditional food preparation.

Unfortunately, because of soil depletion, medications, toxins, poor diet, and plain old age our bodies are not always able to derive the nutrients from the foods we eat. Supplementation may then become necessary.

Dr. Patricia Slagle,, routinely “prescribes” a vitamin regimen for her patients before she prescribes anything else. You’ll find her “Basic Supplement Program for a Reasonably Healthy Person” in this section of my website.

I am constantly adding information to my website, but if you think there is something missing from these pages, please let me know.
