Congressionally Sponsored Screening of Farmageddon

Congresswoman Chellie Pingree will sponsor a Congressional screening of the movie Farmageddon, for Representatives, Senators and their staffers so they may see the devastating effects regulatory policies are having on small American farms. If you are in Rep Pingree’s district, please write and THANK HER.
When: Tuesday, December 13, 5:30 – 6:30 pm, followed by Q and A

Where: United States Capitol, Orientation Theater South, Washington DC

Please invite your Representatives, Senators and their staff to the screening.
Steps:
1. Call your Congressional offices and ask for the scheduler (find your Representative: http://www.house.gov/find your senator: http://www.senate.gov/)
2. Fax or email (fax is best) the scheduler with the invitation below. Please include any personal notes about why you want them to see it. Make sure to include your address. They need to know you are a constituent.
3. Follow-up with a phone call to make sure they received the invitation and ask if they will attend.

Several of the farmers and activists featured in the movie will be present to answer questions as well.
