Essential Oils and Vacation

By August 18, 2011No Comments

This week my husband and I went on vacation with my parents. We left our adult son home to watch the house and our dog and we drove from Utah to Michigan with them. Knowing that we would be gone for 10 days and that we were flying home I needed to decide which oils to bring so we would have what we needed but not have a lot of extra weight in our luggage.

We decided that we needed Refreshment, Spice C, and Spearmint because we use them daily when we brush our teeth. (We brush with Refreshment before bed and Spice C throughout the day, and add a drop or two of Spearmint to our rinse water.). But beyond that, what oils would we need?

I decided to bring Tea Tree which came in handy after getting scraped up after we went tubing at Lava Hot Springs.

We also brought Grateful Heart which we used the night we were staying in St. Ignas at one of the worst hotels I’d ever seen.

The last oil we chose to bring was Ravensara, which is a good oil for respiratory problems and will come in handy for the allergies that I always get when I come to Michigan.

So, what oils can’t you live without when you go on vacations?
