Sometimes you discover something (or are led to something) that has a long and lasting impact on your life – something that is such a blessing to you that you can’t remember what your life was like before you found it or imagine what your life would be like if you hadn’t been led to it.
That’s how I feel about the foot zone technique. After my son passed away I felt like I was walking in a cloud. I knew that I needed a foot zone. A dear friend came over and zoned me and the fog lifted. Later, I was so emotional that I was crying all the time. Another friend came over and gave me a zone and my emotions balanced.
As I’ve continued healing, being able to serve others by providing them with a foot zone has been such a blessing for ME.
For the past two weeks I’ve been having the feeling that there are several people who NEED to learn the foot zone. I don’t know if they need to learn the zone for them, for their family, for someone they know, or to prepare for a future event, I just know that they NEED to learn it. But I also feel like there’s something stopping them from approaching me to take the classes. Maybe they’re not sure it’s what they need or they’re not sure they can afford it or they’re not sure they can go back to school or they’re not sure about something. Maybe it’s one of your friends and they don’t know me at all but they NEED to take foot zoning classes.
As I’ve prayed about what I can do, this is what I was told to do. This is an offer I’ve never made before and I don’t know that it will ever be made again.
Typically, foot zone classes are held Friday and Saturday from 9:00 – 4:30 one week-end a month for 9 months. The cost (if you make payments instead of paying in full) is $400 each month. This can be a huge, daunting commitment for someone who isn’t sure – especially if it’s someone who’s working and would need to take one day off a month or someone who has kids and would need to find a babysitter on that Friday each month.
So this is what I’m offering.
First, I’m going to hold a special Class 1. This class will be held Thursday from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM; Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 – 4:30 PM. This allows those who work, or who need to wait for their husband to come home and watch the kids, to attend the class without taking time off work or hiring a babysitter. (We’ll determine the dates once I have at least 6 people registered for the class.)
Second, if you come to class and decide that this isn’t for you, there will be no cost for this class. All you will need to pay for is the cost of the handouts. If you decide that this is what you need in your life, then I’m going to reduce the cost of your first payment from $400 to $200 (plus the cost of handouts). Future classes will be the regular price of $400 (if you don’t pay in full) and they’ll all be held on the same schedule of Thursday night, Friday night, and all-day Saturday (except for Class 5 & Class 9 because they’re combined classes with all students and all instructors and the owners of the school teach – those will be Friday & Saturday from 9 AM – 4:30 PM).
There really is nothing for you to lose.
