Come Fill Your Lamp….

“I laughed.  I cried.  I healed.  I learned.  What a beautiful gift you have given all of us.  Thank you, thank you.  A million times thank you.  And my children and grandchildren will thank you.  Just wonderful.” ~ McKell, mother of 5, from Orem

Greet the New Year with confidence and calm!  Join me at the 2012 LDS Holistic Women’s Retreat being held Saturday, January 14 in Saratoga Springs, Utah.  There are still a few spaces left.  Click here to register and you’ll be directed to their website.

Modern women are demanding that we reconnect with our authentic selves and roles and stop conforming and forcing ourselves into a hectic, over-scheduled mold that just isn’t working, and never has.  The more we have moved away from our God given cycles and femininity, the more we and humanity has suffered, and the high rates of depression, disconnection, and female related disorders is proof of that.

This retreat will explore all the different tools that women have at their disposal to bring their life and body into balance and tap into the power of their divine nature.  A holistic woman doesn’t just use one modality to contemplate, create, reflect, and nurture. At the 2012 LDS Holistic Women’s Retreat, we will bring to life the simple knowledge and skills that have been passed down through generations of women – wonderful food, herbs, oils, laughter, simplicity, connecting….really, what’s not to look forward to?

What you will come away with…..

  • tools (knowledge of herbs, essential oils,  and healing foods) to navigate your femininity from a place of spiritual strength, health and balance
  • herbs (dry and tinctured) to help you on your path
  • Julia Holt’s tried and true healing recipe booklet
  • the ability to identify your emotional and physical seasons
  • new friendships and perspective
  • knowing how to calendar around life’s ebb and flow to enhance, rather than detract, from your mission and life
  • A gift certificate for the 2011 LDS Holistic Living Conference Complete Audio and Handout bundle ($136 value) to compliment your journey
  • 75+ page LDS Holistic Woman workbook
  • and so very much more

“…it was life changing, and that is not an exaggeration.  You know how you don’t know how sick you are until you are feeling 100% again?  That’s what this retreat did for me.  It woke me up to my 100%!  I didn’t not realize just how much I was missing from my life and how much more fulfilling and centered it is now.  All I can say is WOW!” ~ Stacie, mother of 4, from Las Vegas

“If I had been taught this knowledge from a young age, I know I would have never struggled with PMS, depression, body image issues, morality issues, and my marriage would have been stronger.  Women owe it to themselves and their children to learn all of this.  I am grateful I can break the chain of illness and depression in my family armed with this knowledge.” ~Anne, mother of 2, from Provo

This sounds like a wonderful retreat! I will suggest having retreats like this to the Bishop at the local ward up here..

    • I’m excited to attend this year! The event isn’t sponsored by the ward, stake, or Church though, it’s put together by LDS women of faith…just like you! 🙂

  • Ah,
that would be so cool to arrange something like this..I have talk to my friends to see if we can arrange something like this, perhaps in a smaller scale. Keep me posted on how it was, I know it will be wonderful, but still…
